Production, and contributing reporting
Awaiting Justice for Emmett TillEmmett Till was beaten, shot, and drowned in a river in Mississippi on August 28, 1955. His killing spurred the civil rights movement and inspired events like the historic 1963 March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of his "Dream" for the country.
At the tail end of a summer that was dominated by conversations about white supremacy and police brutality, we explored Emmett’s life and death, and the unresolved investigation into his killing. Co-produced for Al Jazeera's The Take. Listen on Spotify or Apple Podcast. |
Maker Monsters 2In this episode, we follow multimedia journalist Natalia Aldana, organizer and artist Aisha White, podcaster and indie creator Jay Clouse, and we hear from marketing legend Joe Pulizzi as they (and Jay Acunzo) learn to navigate hoe these maker monsters attempt to take hostage of their (and our) sense of self worth.
